Jos Verstappen announces 2026 rally campaign, with co-driver Renaud Jamoul

Jos Verstappen confirms his 2026 rally program, continuing competing in the 2026 Belgian Rally Championship (BRC). The 53-year-old Verstappen Racing driver will once again be partnered by the experienced 41-year-old Belgian co-driver Renaud Jamoul, following a highly competitive and successful 2025 season.

Following the success of Jos’s rally program last year, the pairing heads into 2026 with strong momentum. The former Formula 1 driver impressed across multiple events in 2025, demonstrating consistent pace and stagecraft, leading to strong results that saw Jos and Renaud become the 2025 Belgian Rally Champions.

For the upcoming year, the pair will share a Citroën C3 Rally 2 prepared by the professional Sarrazin Motorsport team, established by the experienced French driver Stéphane Sarrazin. The car will feature the distinctive Verstappen Racing x Red Bull livery.

Jos Verstappen said: "Since I have found rallying in 2022 it has become my passion. It's simply great: the challenge of driving a rally car, the communication with my co-driver and working together with the team. We keep pushing each other to hopefully fight for podiums regularly again. For 2026 we have got about fifteen rally events planned, a really great programme."

Max Verstappen added: “I'm really happy to see my father continue pushing in rallying under Verstappen Racing. Last season showed what Jos and Renaud are capable of, and becoming Belgian Rally Champions was a great achievement. Rallying is very different from what I do, but, like all racing, it takes a lot of work and commitment behind the scenes. Carrying the momentum of last year into 2026, I'm sure they can fight at the front again. It’s great to see him still enjoying the racing and going flat out.”
