Jos in action in Rallye Mont-Blanc Morzine

Published on 06 September 2025 by Florence Cobben

Jos Verstappen was able to drive in the second day of the Rallye Mont-Blanc Morzine, after having to miss out on friday's session. Together with co-pilot Renaud Jamoul, he took to the streets in his Citroën C3 Rally2-car, repaired by Sarrazin Motorsport.

Friday's session ended prematurely after a technical issue on Verstappen's car needed mending. Luckily, Saturday's roster still had eight special stages on the programme.

On the 10.15 km long Lullin – Orcier stage, Jos finished twentieth (+20.8s), finished seventeenth (+27.0s) on the Draillant – Fessy stage (14.55 km), and sixteenth (+15.1s) on the Bonnevaux – Le Biot (9.47 km). Finally he came fourteenth (+15.9s) on the Montriond-le-Lac – Avoriaz stages (9.30 km).

On the La Côte d'Arbroz – Taninges stage (14.48 km) Jos came fifteenth (+26.2s), on the Morillon – Samoëns (10.33km) he came fourteenth (+15.4s), on the long Samoëns – Morzine (20.06 km) stage he came eighteenth (+46.1s) and on the last Montriod-le-Lac – Avoriaz (9.30 km) stage he finished ninth (+12.1s).

In this fashion Jos and Renaud brought the Rallye Mont-Blanc Morzine to an end, driven along the beautiful Swiss border. Frenchman Eric Camilli profitted from leader Yoann Bonato running a flat tyre in the penultimate stage, and so secured his second win of the season.
