Thierry looks ahead to GTWC Magny-Cours: 'We feel prepared'

Published on 31 July 2025 by Niels Hendrix

Thierry Vermeulen has continued his racing programme in the GT World Challenge Europe Sprint Cup (GTWC Sprint), where in 2025 he is partnered by his Verstappen.com Racing teammate, Chris Lulham. The pair will share the Emil Frey Racing run Ferrari 296 GT3 in the five rounds of the sprint championship, racing on some of the most iconic and historic circuits in Europe.

Coming weekend Magny-Cours in France will host the GTWC Sprint. Thierry says: “It’s a very old school track where last year we had some good potential but a difficult weekend. We had a good winter test here so all in all we feel prepared. We have our Thursday test to prepare the car and get everything in the right window to be ready for free practices on Friday.”

Thierry continues: “It is another night race. We had a night race in Misano where we unfortunately didn’t finish, so I’m excited to race some laps in the dark this weekend.”
