Not only Max, but Jos also in action in an F1 car in Austria

In two weeks, the mountainous surroundings of the Red Bull Ring will turn orange again, when thousands of Dutch fans will travel to the Austrian Grand Prix, where this year Verstappen.com has four Max Verstappen Grandstands.

All eyes of the Orange Army will be on Max Verstappen, who will fight for a victory in his Oracle Red Bull Racing RB20. This year, his father, Jos Verstappen, will also make an appearance in a Formula 1 car: the Red Bull RB8.

One of the annual highlights during the Grand Prix weekend is the Legends Parade, which focuses on legendary Formula 1 drivers and iconic F1 cars that have won the Austrian Grand Prix over the past fifty years.

Jos will do Max’s honours and will race around the track in Spielberg with the 2012 RB8, with the loud V8 engine. It is the car in which Sebastian Vettel won his third world title that year.

Other names that will make an appearance during the Legends Parade are Emerson Fittipaldi in the Lotus 72, with which he won the Austrian Grand Prix in 1972. Johnny Herbert will get behind the wheel of the Lotus 82, the car that was driven by Elio de Angelis when he won the 1982 Austrian GP. David Coulthard will take place in the Red Bull RB1. In 2001, the Scottish driver won the Austrian GP for McLaren. Last but not least, Gerhard Berger will drive the F2002 with which Michael Schumacher triumphed in Spielberg in 2002.

When the cars are not on the track, they can be seen in the F1 Fan Zone. There the Lotus 79 of Ronnie Peterson and Max Verstappen’s RB14 can also be seen. The ‘warm-up’ of the Legends Parade is on Saturday, 29 June from 17:50 to 18:20. On Sunday, the parade will take place from 12:30 to 12:50.

You can be there during the Austrian Grand Prix to see both Verstappens in action. There are still a few tickets available for the Max Verstappen T10 Grandstand, located in the last corner of the Red Bull Ring. See: https://www.verstappen.com/tickets/austrian-gp
