Teams unveil new liveries during F1 75 Live

During a dazzling evening at the O2 Arena in London, all ten Formula 1 teams unveiled their new car liveries during F1 75 Live. This marks the first time in the sport's history that all livery presentations took at the same time, during one event. Usually, teams organize their own unveilings, but in honor of Formula 1’s 75th anniversary this year a large joint show was held.
Oracle Red Bull Racing also presented the new RB21 livery tonight. The evening was hosted by comedian and actor Jack Whitehall, included sneak peeks at the upcoming F1 movie, and featured performances by Machine Gun Kelly, Take That and Kane Brown, among others, to a room of 20,000-plus attendees.
Prior to the event, Max says, “I'm doing well. Nice and relaxed. I didn't have to do that much, fortunately. I was able to train and spent quite a bit of time at home. That's always nice.” About tonight's event, he adds: “It's nice for the fans to see the cars and the liveries. I hope it will be a fun show for them.”
The liveries are presented in reverse order to the constructor’s championship of 2024, meaning Kick Sauber is first. Nico Hülkenberg and rookie Gabriel Bortoleto present the C45, which remains faithful to the green-black color scheme but now sports a matte finish. James Vowles joins drivers Carlos Sainz and Alexander Albon to present the Williams livery – blue, recognizable and iconic.
Visa Cash App Racing Bulls mark a strong departure from the formula: Yuki Tsunoda and Isack Hadjar reveal a flashy new white livery. Although Haas’ line-up has changed with Esteban Ocon and Oliver Bearman, the new livery stays mostly true to previous years. Alpine, too, stays loyal to their brandng with a pink and blue color scheme, presented by Pierre Gasly and newcomer Jack Doohan.
At Aston Martin, Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll show off their recognizable green livery, updated with some black running along it’s sides. Kimi Antonelli and George Russell proudly present the new Mercedes, which is more silver this year than it’s 2024 predecessor.
Then it's Oracle Red Bull Racing's turn. Christian Horner comes on while Start Me Up by The Rolling Stones blasts over the speakers, one of Red Bull co-founder Dietrich Mateschitz's favorite songs. After an energetic video full of action, music and cars, Max Verstappen and his new teammate Liam Lawson appear to walk alongside the new car, joined by the actors from the video. Red Bull remains true to its iconic colors and design, with the familiar blue-red-yellow livery that took Max to four world titles. The livery does feature several new partners, including crypto partner Gate.io.
Then Charles Leclerc, Lewis Hamilton and Fred Vasseur take to the stage, greeted by loud cheers. Together they present - what else - the classic red Ferrari livery, with some white on choice parts. McLaren, as the constructor’s championship winners, gets the honor of closing out the evening. They present the black-and-orange car in which they will defend the constructors' title. Like many teams before them, only subtle changes are visible.
With a performance by Take That, this evening's festivities draws to a close. All eyes are now on Bahrain, where the teams will hit the track starting on Feb 26 for the first days of testing.
