Let the show begin

It was warm and sunny on the circuit of Melbourne where several Formula 1 teams are struggling to gain the first points. All cars have been approved by the FIA since they all participated in the first free practice. On top, it looks as if we continue where we left last season. Mika Häkkinen was fastest during the first free session in 1:33.213 followed by Coulthard, Frentzen Trulli, Barrichello and Herbert. More surprising was the last position of Michael Schumacher, however he stalled his engine at the end of the pitlane. Also surprising were both Stewarts who were second and third until a few minutes before the end of the training. For a complete overview you can take a look at our season page.
