In the first run this morning Jos tried various setups. They made aerodynamical adjustments to the front and rear wing while trying to find a good race setup. The traction control was their main focus and they we testing it with more and less slip. This was combined with the use of old and new tyres to find a difference in the result.
Jos: "Traction control will be very important in the race, especially for the lifetime of your tyres. Concerning the start we will have to see how good the systems of the other teams are. We tried some starts, which we can do fully automatic and the same goes for shifting gears up."
Fully focused on traction control
OrangeArrows said they have tried to make traction control as good as Jos's right foot. Jos will be able to switch it on and off during the race with a button in his cockpit.
