Max switches to fifth engine and takes grid penalty

Prior to the third free practice, Scuderia Toro Rosso placed Renault’s fifth power unit in Max Verstappen’s car. This means the Dutchman will suffer a ten place grid penalty for the Canadian Grand Prix.
Max was already forced to move back five places due to a penalty he got after having crashed with Romain Grosjean during the race in Monaco. This now boils down to a total of fifteen grid positions the youngster will have to surrender. Starting from the back of the grid seems all too real now.
Should Max not be able to take the full grid penalty, the remainder of the positions will be transferred to a time penalty, to be taken during the race.
