Proud Jos: "This is the real Max"

After Max Verstappen terrific eighth place at the Belgian Grand Prix, Verstappen.nl caught up with proud father Jos in the Spa paddock. “Max has done an amazing job. It's really a great result and another four points. I'm very proud of him.”

“Max really showed he's a true racer. He was so strong, consistent and pulled of some stunning overtakes. The way he passed Nasr in the high speed corner Blanchimont is typical Max. He always gives something extra when he drives and overtakes”, explains Jos, who held his breath for a moment when Max pulled off the pass on the Sauber driver. 

“It was a great move, the kind of stuff the fans want to see. I those moments I'm confident it's going to go well. In fact, the Max we saw racing at Spa today, that's the Max we know. That's the way he raced in karts, Formula 3 and now in F1. There are many more stunning overtakes ahead of us, I know that for sure”, concludes Jos.
