Horner after Italy: "Max was unlucky, but he kept fighting"

Both Red Bull Racing-drivers started the Grand Prix at Monza at the back of the field after som grid penalties. Max Verstappen had a good start and was in P8 after the first corner. A puncture on lap three, caused by a tangle with Felipe Massa, dropped him back to last place. Max then went on to finish tenth. Daniel Ricciardo worked his way up from P16 to P4. Red Bull Racing team prinicipal Christian Horner reflects after the race:

“Max was unlucky to get involved in a racing incident with Felipe Massa and as a result suffered a puncture. His pace was right there with Daniel’s today and it’s a shame that his race was compromised with that puncture on the third lap. Nonetheless he kept fighting and brought the car in the final points-scoring place. It was a fantastic drive by Daniel today. He had good pace, good strategy and made some fantastic overtaking moves to finish within four seconds of Sebastian, just out of a podium place and fully deserved Driver of the Day."
