Max Verstappen voted Driver of the Day

Max Verstappen has been voted ‘Driver of the Day’ for the second time this season. Fans worldwide casted their votes during the Singapore Grand Prix. The Dutchman was the one who amassed the most votes in the end. After his win in Austria, Verstappen was also voted Driver of the Day. Max Verstappen drove a solid race today on the Marina Bay circuit and took his sixth podium finish home this year.

Despite a good start, Max was overtaken by Ferrari-running Sebastian Vettel on the first lap. However, Verstappen stayed close on his tail and was able to get the upper hand on the German after his own pit stop.

Later on in the race, there was a brief chance for the victory for Max, as race leader Lewis Hamilton ran into a fight amongst the back markers. Max slotted in, but the Briton remained flawless and eventually took home his sixty-ninth career victory.
