Times are getting faster and faster in Canada. Alesi was fastest in 1:19.037 followed by Hakkinen, Coulthard, Michael Schumacher Fisichella and Villeneuve.

Jos did very well, he drove with 1:20.358 to position 10. Salo took position 16 in 1:21.332.
