Max after his shake down in the RB16: 'Very positive'

Max Verstappen took the RB16 for a spin for the first time today, the car that is the 2020-challenger for Aston Martin Red Bull Racing. The Dutchman had a flawless Wednesday on Silverstone today, which was also an official filming day.

Max reported the following from the UK: “I just finished my filming day. This was my first time in the RB16. It was all very positive. It is of course very important to get the car running and check all the bits on the car before we head off to Barcelona. I can’t wait to be there.”

From Wednesday 19th February onwards, the first three days of off-season testing will take place on the Spanish circuit, after which one week later the final three days of testing will take place there as well, before the entire Formula 1-circus heads off to Australia. On March 15th they will host the first Grand Prix of 2020.
