Max after first introduction RB19: 'The first feeling is really good'

“It is great to be in New Yor for the launch of the RB19”, says the Oracle Red Bull Racing driver Max Verstappen, wearing the new teamline outfit of Castore, in front of a crowded room and many viewers watching through the online stream. ”The United States are very important to us. This year there are three Grands Prix to look forward to.”

It is the first time the two-time Formula 1 world champion sees the new car. Max says: “The livery has been pretty similar for a couple of years, I always find it a cool looking car with the Red Bull colours all over the place. We have had a lot of success, so why would you chance that.”

Max is looking forward to drive the RB19, after having driven his first virtual miles. “I have driven it in the simulator. After last year we constantly try to make the car better. I cannot share to many details, but in the simulator, we try to correlate it as well as you can to the real world. The first feelings have been really good.”

It is too early to speak about expectations, but a positive Max says: “We are very excited for next season and we will do the best we can to defend our world titles.”
