Verstappen.com Racing is represented in the GT World Challenge Europe Sprint Cup (GTWC Sprint) by Thierry Vermeulen, who drives a Ferrari 296 GT3 of Emil Frey Racing. The 20-year-old Dutchman will make his appearance the upcoming weekend at the Italian circuit of Misano.
“I am ready to go in Misano, following two excellent testing days in Mugello together with Max and Jos”, says Thierry. “It was really good to try out some things after two tough racing weekends. After the Norisring we needed some time to test things, work on the car and work on myself, so it was great to free the mind with two good days in Mugello. Also, for the team it was a very effective experience. So we are ready for Misano and try a few things we learned in Mugello.”
“On Friday is the official practice and pre-qualifying. I'm excited to be back in the car with Albert Costa, of course we did a DTM race together as well. We’re both pretty excited to get going. We deserve a good race and a good result, so we’re going to work hard for that this weekend. I believe in ourselves and think we can be quite competitive this weekend so let’s see where we end up.”
