Verstappen.com Racing is represented in the GT World Challenge Europe Sprint Cup (GTWC Sprint) by Thierry Vermeulen, who drives a Ferrari 296 GT3 of Emil Frey Racing. The 21-year-old Dutchman makes his appearance upcoming weekend during the event at the Hockenheimring in Germany.
Thierry says: “On Thursday we had a testing day in Hockenheim. We got to try out some things and got back in the rhythm. Of course, with the GT World Challenge the rules are different: hot tires and sharing the car together with Albert Costa. It was good to get back together and I think we completed all the tests we wanted to do. So it was a positive day.”
“There are a lot of cars here, so it is hard to say where we really are, but I believe a top ten should be possible. It’s now been six races in a row in the top ten, so we want to continue that momentum with the team who have worked very hard to get here. So step by step we want to get closer to that podium.”
