Jos fourth in Hellendoorn Rally after impressive comeback

After a stellor recovery drive, Jos Verstappen and co-driver Renaud Jamoul finished the Hellendoorn Rally in fourth place. On Friday evening, the first day of the event, Jos initially took the lead in his Skoda Fabia RS Rally2-car. However, on the last stage of the night, Verstappen and Jamoul lost two minutes after going off track.
On the second and final day of the event, Jos took heart from the early stages on Friday and went about making up valuable time. Of the sixteen timed stages run on Saturday, the Verstappen.com car won twelve out of sixteen.
In the end, Jos and Renaud missed out on the podium by a mere four seconds. Overall, the duo trailed winner Bernard ten Brinke by 1m15s. Considering the two minutes lost on Friday, an impressive resurgence.
