Max reveals his special Japanese GP helmet

Max Verstappen has revealed his special helmet for the Japanese Grand Prix. The design is inspired by the Japanese flag.

The two-time Formula 1 world champion explains: “I have special memories of Japan. I drove my first Formula 1 practice session at Suzuka back in the day, which was quite challenging. Since then, I have always held a special relationship with the country, especially with Honda coming onboard with our team. Then of course, I managed to win my second world championship in Japan last year.”

Max adds: “Japan brings back a lot of special memories for me and that’s why I thought that this was a good place to have a special helmet. As you can see, the white with a red circle represents the Japanese flag. This helmet also has a different logo on the front, with EA Sports FC, as they are launching their new football game.”
