Jos Verstappen and his co-driver Renaud Jamoul are competing in Switzerland this weekend. The duo is driving a Citroën C3 Rally2 car prepared by Sarrazin Motorsport in the Rallye International du Valais. After seven of the thirteen stages, Jos and Renaud are in second place overall.

On Thursday evening, the opening stage in Martigny (8.94 km) took place under treacherous conditions, with Jos setting the fastest time. The rally continued on Friday with six more stages, spread across three different tests: Anzère (12.59 km), Nax Région (13.30 km), and Hérémence (13.38 km).

During the first round, Jos topped the timesheets twice and finished third once, putting him second overall, just 1.1 seconds behind Swiss driver Jonathan Hirschi. Conditions improved slightly for the second round of stages, where Jos set a P4, P3, and P2. That left him in second place overall at the end of Friday, 14.1 seconds behind Hirschi.

On Saturday, the remaining six stages through the challenging Swiss mountains are on the schedule.
