Today Jos has continued his two day test session with the Benetton Playlife at Silverstone. The day started out rainy, just like yesterday, but in the course of the day the weather got slightly better. At half past three this afternoon Jos had set a best time of 1:30.6 on a track that got a little drier. He set the time with lots of fuel on board and a bad weather trim of the car. In the afternoon the team had a little break because the helicopter that always has to be around the track while driving had been away for a while.

Eventually Jos did 47 laps in the Benetton Playlife today and set a best time of 1:29.5. Jos said afterwards: "I am very impressed with the overall performance of the car. Especially the power of the engine and the enormous amount of grip are impressive. The team is very professional and well organised. We didn't test today to set a fast time. We drove with a lot of fuel on board, on regular tyres and without a qualifying trim." All in all Jos was very pleased with the way the session went and he was happy that at last he was able to enter the circuit again with a very good Formula 1 car. Hopefully this test session will be continued.
