Until late this afternoon, the Stewart-Ford team was active with their test program at Magny Cours. The intensive testing resulted in the fact that Jos is getting used to the car. This afternoon, the team worked very hard to try out several standard set ups of the car. Although Jos was not pushing the limit, he was able to set a fastest time of 1:19.9 (unofficial). Tomorrow he will do his first real try to set a fast time. It is known that the track is fastest during the early morning, meaning that Jos will be early on the circuit.

Jos is very pleased with the very professional team of Stewart-Ford. He can also get along just fine with Rubens Barrichello of whom he says is a great colleague. The results of both cars are exchanged with each other to get the best team result as possible.
