Jos Verstappen will test for Stewart. Jos will drive the Stewart-Ford team during their three-day test at Magny Cours this week. Jos will join Rubens Barrichello at the French circuit for a two-car test on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. this week. Jos's performance during testing will be evaluated before a decision is taken whether he will be engaged to drive for the team in the French Grand Prix. It is investigated that should his test be successful, he would be retained the rest of the season. Jan's future with the team of Stewart-Ford will be determined by the results of Jos's test. The comments of Jos according to his test work is as followed :"The team of Stewart-Ford has showed over the last Grand Prixs that they are not only a competitive team, but also have gained in reliability. Therefor I feel confident with them and I'm very willing to drive for them the rest of the season. This will be a busy week, since the first tests are scheduled for tomorrow, meaning we will have to fit the chair this evening. However I am really looking forward to do the test work for the team". Jos will give further details of the test work and the possible results during the fanclub days which are held in Echt this weekend.
