Prost has announced that John Barnard's B3 Technologies company has signed an exclusive deal with Prost Grand Prix. The team called it "The most important change to take place in the technical structure of the company." John Barnard will work exclusively for the team as a consultant. Prost already had a deal with B3 last year to supply specific parts for their car but according to Prost: "Today the 30 employees of B3T are totally assigned to work on the development of the Prost Peugeot AP02 under the responsibility of John Barnard." Last year Barnard joined Arrows after having worked for Ferrari on and off since 1986. He started his F1 career in 1969 with Lola.
