As official site of Jos Verstappen we do not want and are not able to react on each rumour that is spread on the Internet concerning the future of Jos Verstappen. However we don't want to hide the following information to you. In the Italian sports paper La gazetta dello Sport, a small article was published about the first planned test session of the new Honda team. A fan of Jos who lives in Italy read the article and translated it on our forum (our thanks for that Olaf). According to the article, the team wanted to do their first test session in secret on the circuit of Vairano (Italy). A lot of mechanics were present of the former Tyrrell team, while the trucks were completely white without any advertisement. The article also stated that Jos Verstappen was present as test driver. This made us very curious, so we confronted Jos his manager, Huub Rothengatter with the article and asked if he could acknowledge or deny the information. However, his statement was very short: "no comment"....

Due to ongoing fog, the team was not able to do any testing, and according to the same article, it could remain foggy today as well.
