According to several German newspapers Zakspeed is now really on the verge of buying the Arrows team for £23 million from Tom Walkinshaw. Arrows has gotten into serious financial problems after title sponsors Danka and Zepter have pulled out of the team. The team would be running Mecachrome engines and drivers would be Mika Salo and Toranosuke Takagi.
