No great improvements in Barcelona on second day
Published on 09 February 1999 by Verstappen Info Page
The heavy wind created difficult circumstances at the circuit of Barcelona. The strong wind varied a lot so the drivers were hardly able to improve their times. The Honda team also suffered from the weather circumstances. Nevertheless, Jos Verstappen was able to complete 69 laps setting the sixth time of the day. Jos also drove for the first time chassis number two for a few laps.
