This week, Jos Verstappen and co-driver Renaud Jamoul are contesting the 24th edition of the Tour de Corse Historique. The historic rally is a five-day event, finishing in Porto-Vecchio, Corsica, on Saturday.

Jos and Renaud are piloting a 1974 Porsche 911 Carrera 3.0 RS; with 930kg and its rear wheels driven by a 330 BHP flat six-cylinder engine, the Porsche is a rally thoroughbred. Sporting the number 33, the duo remained third in class (H1) and ninth overall after day three.

Thursday’s schedule was set to feature four timed stages. Due to traffic chaos on the roads between the stages, the second timed section was cancelled. Nevertheless, the teams and drivers still enjoyed three beautiful yet challenging stages. Jos kicked of the day with third in class, followed by two fourth places in the final two sections. Going into the final eight stages, spread across Friday and Saturday, Jos and Renaud are continuing to hold on to third in the H1 class and to a top ten finish overall.
